Upcycling & Zero Waste Oils

What if you could source oils that from discards left by large agricultural growers? Welcome to the oils that go by several names: Zero waste, or Up- cycled oils.

Large agricultural growers use only a portion of the fruit or vegetables; the juice, jam, sauce, and pulp, and the rest, stems, skins, and seeds, are discarded as pomace.

Enterprising oil producers collect the pomace, separate and dry the seeds, and use them to press the lipid oils.

Here is a list of candidates for collecting and pressing these zero-waste oils. Imagine how many possibilities there are.
